The Armstrong World War 1 Memorial Project for schools is being developed by Newcastle University.

Aimed at Key Stage 3 students, it gives young people the opportunity to learn about researching individuals named on war memorials and to have the information they find about the men on the Armstrong memorial added to this Digital Memory Book. Schools wishing to take part in this project may wish to book a group onto our war memorials workshop or make use of our teacher’s pack below.
